"There will be rubs and disappointments everywhere" - Jane Austen

There will be little rubs and disappointments everywhere, and we are all apt to expect too much; but then, if one scheme of happiness fails, human nature turns to another; if the first calculation is wrong, we make a second better: we find comfort somewhere."
- Jane Austen

When a tigress gives birth to the cubs, she often chases off the male as he is a threat to the cubs and may even attempt to kill them; and so the female rears the cubs all by herself. But despite that, the cubs never grow up to hate their father. As soon as the mother has finished teaching and nurturing the cubs, they leave their mother and start a life of their own. There is nothing right or wrong about it, it’s just a part of their nature; like it is human nature to expect.
One of the most difficult things to do is to be able to recover from your disappointment. We expect a lot of things from our life and form the people in our life; and if we think about it, we’ll realize that unfulfilled expectations often make us unhappy.
It need not be a heart break every time things don’t turn out as we expect them to. I'm saying that we should be able teach ourselves to accept disappointments and move on in life.
As much as I’d like to believe life is perfect. There are going to hard times and we are going to be disappointed and hurt. But we'll be happier if we face the facts of our life and accept them. I think it’ll be easier to recover from our disappointments if we understand that we’ll always find something to learn from them in the long run, if not immediately.
Moving on is difficult. Coming to terms with our losses are difficult. But once we understand that change is a part of life and after and we will always be a little happy and a little sad life just becomes easier than it seems now.
